Those who are homeless need your help.  There is not enough shelter in the city and you can be a part of changing that.  Basic shelter is an essential first step in helping the most vulnerable in our city.  Come today at lunch in the SAC to learn more.  There will be representatives from Andre House to educate us about the current situation and an opportunity to take some concrete steps to advocate.  We need your voice!  See you at lunch today.  Mrs. Agliano and the advocacy club

IC MAKER FAIRETODAY the IC will be hosting our first annual Spring IC Maker Faire.  Throughout the day student projects from this semester’s Introduction to Innovative Technologies classes will be on display.  During Periods 2-7, students from each class will be by their projects to answer any questions you may have.  The students would greatly appreciate if you could visit IC during any open periods to see what they have made and ask them any questions about their projects.  Please let me know if you have any questions and we look forward to seeing you next week Monday in the IC.

Baccalaureate Mass and Commencement Ceremony 2018

Graduation Practice-Wednesday May 16-1:00PM

Seniors are to report to the second floor of Brophy Hall before 1:00 pm on Wednesday for Graduation and Baccalaureate Practice.  There will be signs designating your room assignments on the doors of upper Brophy Hall.  Attendance at this practice is mandatory.  We will not begin until everyone is present.  If everyone is present, on time, and follows directions well we should be able to finish the practice well before the scheduled end time of 4:30 pm.  Regular dress code is in effect and you are expected to have your hair cut to school code and to be cleanly shaven at this time.

Baccalaureate Mass-Friday, May 18-6:15PM

Seniors are to report to their assigned rooms in Brophy Hall before 6:15 pm on Friday evening for the Baccalaureate Mass.  Attendance at this celebration is required in order to participate in the Commencement Ceremony Saturday morning.  There will be a reception after the Baccalaureate Mass in the Great Hall.  Dress for the mass is as follows: white or blue dress shirt, Brophy tie, tan/navy/black dress pants, brown or black dress shoes, brown or black dress socks, and a brown or black dress belt.  Over this you are to wear your graduation gown.  You do not need to bring your caps or tassels, as you will not be wearing them for the mass. Your gown needs to be taken out of the package and steamed or dry cleaned so that it is free from wrinkles.  DO NOT IRON YOUR GOWN!  It will most likely melt.  Students are to be clean shaven and hair is to be cut according to dress code.  Seating for the mass is very limited, so please only invite your immediate family to this event.   Please carpool in order to save parking spots.

Commencement Ceremony-Saturday, May 19-8:15 AM

Seniors are to report to their assigned rooms in Brophy Hall before 8:15 am on Saturday morning.  Please carpool, as parking will be extremely tight.  Dress for the Commencement Ceremony is the same as it is for the Baccalaureate mass except that you also need to have your cap and tassel.  Your caps are not to be decorated in any way.

Following the commencement ceremony, you are to once again report to your assigned room in Brophy Hall to pick up your diploma.  Diplomas are not actually given to you during the ceremony, only the jacket for the diploma is handed to you at that time.
