FACES OF BROPHY – The Brophy Culture Project will be hosting its next installment of the “Faces of Brophy” speaker series on Wednesday, February 1st in the SAC @ Lunch. Let us come together as a community to hear each other’s stories and experiences so that we may grow in love, compassion, and brotherhood.
POETRY OUT LOUD 2017 – Elite Eight: BLAM presents Brophy’s 8th Annual Poetry Out Loud Elite Eight competition this Thursday, February 2nd at lunch, BBT. Eight finalists will compete to be named this year’s Brophy Poetry Out Loud winner and earn a place in the Central Regional competition that will take place at Mesa Arts Center on February 18. See the poster for a list of competitors. Come support your friends and classmates Thursday at lunch.
STOCK MARKET GAME – Anyone interested in playing the Stock Market Game must have their payments and forms in by Friday, Feb 3rd. You can pay your $15 to Ms. McCoy in the business office and then attach the receipt to the green form and bring it to Ms. Guffey in B103. No entries are allowed after Feb 3rd.

BLAM. BLAM announces its first two contests of 2017! The literary contest is Iceberg Theory: Write a 150-word story, but you may use footnotes limitlessly. The art contest is Beneath the Surface: Utilize stark contrasts to go beyond the plainly visible. Submissions for both are due to email@example.com by Friday, February 10th.

VALLEY LEADERSHIP YOUTH – “Designed to empower youth to lead, our innovative and experiential workshop series tasks high school students with designing and awarding grant funds to local nonprofits and community agencies. Students gain a deep understanding of the significance of philanthropy. Through time, talent and treasure, we cultivate change agents early in their leadership careers.
