CONGRATULATIONS SWIM & DIVE TEAM who continues to roll, we competed against Pinnacle HS Thursday and scored another win, 131 to 51. We won all 3 relays and Individual 1st place winners were Noah Sugden in diving, Mike Niezgodzki in the fly and 200, Freshmen Matt Milovanovic in the back, Tim LaFave 200 free, in the 100 free, Jake Black in the 200 IM, AJ Frakes in the 100 free, Jake Black 50 free and Sean Gage breast stroke. Students involved in BCP clubs – Come meet and have a pizza lunch with Ms. Renke on Tuesday, Oct. 4th. She wants to get to know you better and hear about the exciting things going on in your clubs. The first 30 students who sign up in the Dean’s Office will share their lunch hour with Ms. Renke. The sign-up sheet will be available beginning Monday, Sept. 26th. Lunch will be served in the Faculty Lounge which is located off of the McCain Colonnade.
SENIORS WHO HAVE NOT SELECTED A YEARBOOK PHOTO – Please call or visit Cilento Photography ASAP (no later than Sunday, Oct. 2) to select your image for the yearbook. If you just had a yearbook portrait session you would choose your yearbook image shortly afterward. If you had a portrait session some time ago, you will choose the image during the view that your parents scheduled. If you have not scheduled a “view”, please contact Cilento at 480-947-4467 today. The studio will choose one for you if you do not come by in time.
Apply now for Brophy/Xavier bus tour of local tech companies – Select Brophy students will join Xavier students Oct. 21 at 10 a.m. on a bus tour of several local technology companies. Companies on the tour are GoDaddy, PADT in Tempe and WebPT in the Phoenix Warehouse District. Lunch and swag will be included. The tour will leave at break and return to school at 3:30 p.m. This bus tour is perfect for students interested in technology now and as a potential career. We will see a variety of technology-based businesses and hear from tech leaders about their experiences and advice. The tour is free. After talking to the Bronco Student Council, we have decided to wave the entrance fee for tomorrow night’s FNL in the hope that you will donate to Pediatric Cancer Awareness month at the event instead. You will still need a valid Student ID at the door. Lastly, there are only a few gold Red Army shirts remaining. These are limited edition and will not be remade. Get them while you still can in the varsity shop.

XCP/BCP Theatre Department is pleased to announce its Fall musical production, IN THE HEIGHTS, music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda, book by Quiara Alegria Hudes, and conceived by Lin-Manuel Miranda. Production dates are Wed-Th Oct. 12-13, and Sat, Oct. 15, all 7pm. Also, a matinee performance Sat, October 15, 2pm. Performances held in the Kemper and Ethel Marley Theatre, XCP PAC. NCAA Eligibility Workshop – Monday October 3, HGH, 6-7:30PM – Any student athletes interested in playing Division 1 or 2 athletics in college are encouraged to attend the workshop with a parent. Any athletes playing a fall sport must get permission of their head coach prior to participate in Open Gym. Players should attend the Open Gym for their respective class and check the daily and weekly bulletins for any schedule changes that may arise.
